Technology Company Donates Web Site and Local Directory
(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 27, 2001 ) (EMAILWIRE.COM, APRIL 27, 2001) Anderson, IN, -- The goal of one of the country’s most philanthropic festivals is to raise money for local charities, not spend money on promotion.
For the third consecutive year, Enterprise Designs and its parent company, LocalWeb4U Inc., are donating their advanced design and development expertise to the Little 500 Festival in Anderson, Indiana for the creation of their web site.
"We’re very proud and excited to provide community-based technology for the official web site of the Little 500," says LocalWeb4U president, Doug Edge. "Our goals are very similar in that we’re both focused on strengthening communities."
Each event during the month of May is published on the official web site of the Little 500 at www.little500.org. The event calendar includes dates, times, pictures and contact information for every event. Enterprise Designs is also providing the Little 500 with a web directory of local web sites, created and developed by LocalWeb4U Inc. This allows visitors to the Little 500 site to also find information about local businesses, organizations and non-profits.
The official mascot of LocalWeb4U Inc. will be at many of the festival’s events this year. Look for Webster, the 8 1/2-foot duck, promoting LocalWeb4U.com and the official site of the Little 500.
The Little 500 Festival brings local companies and community members together, raising nearly $100,000 each year for local charities. The month-long festival leads up to the Little 500 Sprintcar Race at Anderson Speedway.
