At the North American International Auto Show visitors of TechLab provides kids with a ride on the innovative Boostabout, a merry-go-round equipped with various auto safety seats. Kids can ride and parents can learn about the features of various seats, including booster seats for children who weigh between 40 and 80 pounds. In addition, TechLab is designed to show consumers what Ford Motor Company is working on to make future vehicles safer. The display has an interactive dimension as well. Visitors who undergo a laser scan can try out some future safety features.
