Using the Alcohol 101 program, students can attend a "virtual party," where they take part in interactive role-playing. They can make smart decisions or they can make the wrong decision -- with consequences that can involve date rape, fatal drunk driving crashes or alcohol poisoning. In addition, the CD-ROM includes a clever blood alcohol content estimator that helps students understand the effects of alcohol. This hard-hitting program makes it clear that excessive drinking can have irreversible results. "The Alcohol 101 program is available on more than 15,000 college campuses around the country," said Jeannine Dowling, VP Corporate Communications at Guinness UDV.
