Numoda software has a very small footprint on the device on which it is installed, and runs on any standard operating system including Palm OS, Win CE and RIM. As far as telecommunications carriers go, Numoda runs the gamut, having already deployed on CDMA, CDPD, TDMA, GSM and 802.11 networks. Numoda optimizes the use of the spectrum by using both circuit switched and packet-switched data services.

Numoda incorporates store and forward technology enabling their products to run without a constant connection to a wireless network. Data is organized and communicated by the MAE during transmission to make the most efficient use of bandwidth. Communications are relatively short and tightly controlled by the Numoda MAE.
