NewLogic Technologies Names Ronald Ham as Chief Scientist
Austrian based NewLogic continues to hire top North America talent
(EMAILWIRE.COM, December 20, 2001 ) Lustenau, Austria -- NewLogic Technologies, a leading supplier of wireless intellectual property (IP) cores and design services, today announced the appointment of Ronald Ham as Chief Scientist.
In his role as Chief Scientist, Dr. Ham will strengthen NewLogic's expertise in wireless technologies. Already an acknowledged leader in the Bluetooth wireless technology arena, NewLogic is accelerating development programs to offer IP products in the increasingly important Wireless LAN field. He will join a growing team of over 100 graduate engineers at NewLogic's Lustenau and Sophia Antipolis facilities.

Dr. Ham has over 30 years of experience in the international arena including management positions at Cisco, Texas Instruments and British Aerospace. As a consultant he specialized in RF and Telecommunications systems and his extensive list of clients includes Texas Instruments, Swisscom, Bosch, Siemens, BP and Esso. He is the holder of a number of patents and many of his papers have received worldwide acclaim. He has a B.Sc. from the Texas A & M University, a M.Sc. from Southern Methodist University in Texas, and a Ph.D from the Natal University in Durban. He is a member of both the IEE and IEEE.
