Major changes in management set new direction for NACA’s Japan office
(EMAILWIRE.COM, November 23, 2004 ) Carson, Calif. — NACA Logistics Group, the largest non vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), added a new member, Toru Muguruma, to head the Japan branch office after long-time general manager, Kozo Takahashi, retired.
Mr. Muguruma brings 10 years experience in general management on top of his extensive knowledge in consolidation and forwarding. Michael Sinclair CEO of Americas, Europe, Africa, listed Mr. Muguruma’s interest in Information Technology as one of his top reasons for bringing him into the company. Mr. Takahashi is impressed with his replacement and has expressed confidence in handing the position on to Mr. Muguruma. Mr. Sinclair also described the new General Manager of Japan as having a “clear direction on how to proceed”.
Mr. Muguruma will make one of his first priorities to open a direct line of communication with his staff. He explained that it its important that everyone feel a sense of pride to work within the NACA Logistics Group. Mr. Muguruma has stated that he will focus on adding to customer satisfaction by continuously meeting and exceeding their needs.
