MRB Public Relations Appoints New Executives
(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 23, 2001 ) Red Bank, NJ – Brian K. Dorf joins MRB Public Relations, as Account Executive. Mr. Dorf will leverage his 15 years of PR and media experience to consult and generate awareness for some of MRB’s national technology accounts.
Prior to joining MRB, Mr. Dorf managed high profile accounts for the MWW Group, including NDB.com, petsmart.com and freightquote.com. Mr. Dorf totes a diverse background in political, financial, and high tech public relations. In the early 80s he was a member of the editorial staff of 1010 WINS News Radio in New York. He later produced cable television shows in south Florida and returned to New Jersey to edit newspapers in East Brunswick in 1988. In 1991 he accepted the position of Director of Communications for the Mayor of Jersey City and held that position through four administrations. Following his tenure in Jersey City, Mr. Dorf joined the staff of the Hudson County Executive as Director of Communications. From there he accepted a position at Datek Online where he brought national recognition to the firm’s initiatives in after-hours trading and liquidity.
MRB has also appointed Julie L. Tosun as Assistant Account Executive. She is currently responsible for writing and editing press releases, implementing and maintaining editorial calendars and databases, and assisting all account executives with existing and future accounts. Ms. Tosun comes to MRB from Briechle-Fernandez Marketing Services, Inc., Springfield, New Jersey, where she held the position of Public Relations Coordinator. In that capacity she was responsible for the compilation and implementation of databases, writing and editing press releases, and market and competitive research for companies including: Allied Signal Specialty Chemicals and the Degussa-Hüls Corporation.
