Effective January 24, passengers will be able to travel from these cities through LanChile's gateways of Miami or New York to Santiago, Chile, as well as convenient direct and connecting flights to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and vice versa, with just one ticket and through check-in to their final destination. Passengers may now travel with LanChile to South America from a choice of 16 U.S. cities, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., as well as from Portland and Seattle through a codeshare agreement with Alaska Airlines. Through its codeshare agreement with American Airlines, LanChile offers passengers a greater number of destination cities in the United States, and better connections when traveling between the U.S. and South America. Passengers also benefit from the reciprocal frequent flyer agreement, which allows members of both LanChile's LanPass and American Airlines AAdvantage to earn miles and redeem awards on flights operated by either airline.
