(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 28, 2006 ) Beloit, WI -- Western collectors Richard and Marian McFall will sell the contents of their Western Museum in a special Auction set for Feb. 4 at Beloit Auction Service, 534 W. Grand Ave.

That means coming full circle for McFall who said, “I love Auctions. That’s where I’ve acquired a lot of these items. My wife told me awhile ago that I either had to stop going to Auctions or build a building.”

It’s been several years since McFall put up that building on the family farmette outside Shopiere, WI and opened the McFall’s Western Museum.

It became a regular stop on the Mystery Bus Tour out of Appleton, and it’s gotten its share of attention on the national level. With everything from a light blue Western suit that Roy Rogers wore, to cardboard stand-ups of John Wayne and Dale Evans, the Museum drew interest even from Dusty Rogers, son of Dale and Roy. Dusty and his dad are featured on at least one of the valuable Roy Rogers comic books going up for Auction.

The McFalls acquired some items from the Estate Auction held at Roy Rogers’ home. Going on the block Feb. 4th will be a variety of cowboy-themed books, including two from the famous star Tom Mix’s private library.

Other Auction items include: a rare Mossberg Roy Rogers rifle, autographed photos of Western stars, Western records & tapes, stationery from the Roy Rogers Museum, vintage lunch boxes and thermoses, & many toy gun and holsters.

There will be close to 300 items on the Auction. Bidders can preview the Western Museum lots at Beloit Auction or on-line at www.beloitauction.com. Bidding will take place live, via phone, and on the Internet day of Auction.
