The MXL USB .008 is like having a great studio in a mic.; no mixers, preamps or expensive studio gear. No special software or drivers, just plug in to your portable or desktop computer, set your preferences and enjoy instant studio quality recordings.

The mic uses the best of both analog and digital technology to bring true low noise studio quality to a compact ready to travel mic. It features a large 32mm gold diaphragm capsule, a 20-20kHz frequency response, plus a 3–position analog gain control. The digital section features a 16 bit Delta Sigma A/D converter with a sampling of 44.1 and 48.1. A red LED light behind the protective grill informs the user that the mic is active and correctly oriented toward the user. The mic is internally wired with MOGAMI cable for maximum fidelity.

The MXL USB.008 ships in a rugged tote bag, which includes a desktop mic stand, stand adaptor, a 10-foot USB cable, wind screen, and user’s manual.
