Kiosk Suite marks an innovation in the interactive, web-enabled kiosk market by offering a robust and feature-rich platform for informational and payment applications.

Kiosk Suite is the latest in a long line of high-quality, self-service solutions offered by EPOS. Kiosk Suite has been redesigned and enhanced to include a number of new features and supported peripherals to enhance the customer’s experience at the kiosk. EPOS kiosks include support for full-screen, full motion video, high quality audio, secure web-enablement, and a number of supported customer information collection devices to provide ease-to-use to the user.

While EPOS Kiosk Suite is well suited for most any kiosk application, it has been enhanced to include a number of features to facilitate payments. Kiosk Suite now includes support for credit, debit, gift and identification cards as well as check readers. Furthermore, there is now support for bar code scanners, which enable a customer to simply scan their bill rather than entering account information. EPOS also supports check readers through the use of MICR detection and capture. Simply by placing a check into the reader, the user’s check is accurately read for payments. The incorporation of these technologies enables the customer to quickly and easily lookup account information or make payments on their accounts securely and without the risk of data entry error.

Every kiosk includes Kiosk Engine, KioskStudio and Kiosk Security Engine. Kiosk Engine controls the user experience and all functionality of the kiosk and the kiosk application. KioskStudio allows developers to quickly and easily develop a full-featured kiosk environment. The Kiosk Security Engine prevents users from leaving the designated site(s) or going to restricted sites based on a company’s requirements for security. Additionally, Kiosk Suite includes several on-screen keyboards and numeric keypads that may be used in a kiosk application in the place of input made by the physical keyboard.


EPOS’ Kiosk Suite is typically included with a number of freestanding self-service kiosk systems that are available with indoor enclosures or outdoor enclosures. Indoor enclosures includes a 17” LCD touch-screen monitor, protected keyboard, trackball, printer, speaker system, and internal computer. The indoor unit also includes security features such as locking access doors, ruggedized components, and anchor points for securing the system to the floor. Outdoor kiosks offer a weather-resistant, ruggedized kiosk enclosure with all the features of the indoor enclosures but with added security and protection from the elements and users. The proximity sensor option will detect motion within several feet of a kiosk so that the kiosk application may play an enterprise-sponsored kiosk advertisement, attraction message or any other multimedia presentation.
