Deputy Mayor Opens New Offices As Bartercard Business Exchange Expands
(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 14, 2005 ) Chatswood -- The Deputy Mayor of Thurrock, Councillor Jocelyn Redsell, officially opened the new offices of Barter Company Bartercard Essex at Viking House in Lodge Lane, Grays this week and welcomed the business exchange to her own Ward.
Barter business exchange Brokerage Director of Bartercard Essex, Mr Matthew Harding, said: "In January this year Bartercard business exchange Essex opened offices at Kelvedon which serve the north of the county but even with that additional office space our growth meant we needed extra space for our head business exchange office in Grays.
"We were pleased we were able to sign a lease on 1,800 square feet of new offices at Viking House in Lodge Lane, Grays which effectively doubled the space available for our head business exchange office operation and we were delighted to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Thurrock, Councillor Jocelyn Redsell, to officially open the new business exchange offices this week s she is also our Ward Councillor.
"Business and community leaders from along the Thames Corridor joined us for this special afternoon of celebration. The new business exchange offices will allow us to expand the room available for our business exchange trading managers who are currently helping Essex business exchange businesses achieve more than £1 million of new business every month through the Bartercard network.
"Our team of sales staff will also have a dedicated area in the new offices allowing them to continue the record growth they have been achieving as well as providing them with a more pleasant working environment.
"Another part of the project is to develop a large meeting room which can be sub divided in to two smaller rooms so that we can bring together business exchange members for briefings on the latest products and services available through Barter business exchange company Bartercard.
"We are pleased that we have been able to negotiate this deal for offices in Grays as we believe the Thames Gateway corridor is a thriving area in which to base a business exchange business and these offices have easy access to the A13, A128 and M25 road networks as well as to Grays railway station for direct access to central London making it ideal for our staff wishing to reach customers across the county.
"An added benefit is the fact that the business exchange offices are also easily accessible for staff and have good car parking facilities on site meaning we can bring together the right people to provide the best possible standards of service to our business exchange members."
