DCI Voice Solutions and GlobalPhone Build Relationship to Tackle VoIP Industry

 



(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 08, 2005 ) Salisbury, MD -- DCI Voice Solutions, the nation’s fastest growing premiere Wholesale VoIP and TDM services provider, and GlobalPhone Corp., an emerging facilities-based carrier, today announced the collaborative partnership development for sophisticated IP services for all levels.

GlobalPhone identified DCI as a strong influence in the wholesale market and made a strategic decision to pass 100% of their domestic traffic through them. In turn, DCI saw value in GlobalPhone’s enhanced telecom solutions for retail agents, and has commissioned them as their official retail arm.

“The carrier and service provider market is where we play our best game. DCI is very attractive to wholesalers and service providers due to the multiple advantages provided by our TDM and VoIP network,” said Neil Rosenblit, DCI’s EVP of Corporate Sales. He continued, “As we dove further into the wholesale marketplace, we realized that it was our niche, but we still received an abundance of retail inquiries, which prompted us to find an outlet that could better serve accounts of this size.”

GlobalPhone has invested 11 years into international telecommunications and, with the advent of their virtual switch product, the retail and agent market has become an additional focal point.

With international origination and termination as their core business, GlobalPhone has not had the inclination to invest resources to enhance the domestic aspect of their business. As the demand for domestic termination increased, GlobalPhone sought out an economical resolution. “Our partnership with DCI allows us to offer quality domestic termination to our international clients at an affordable price,” said Guy Jazynka, COO and Co-Founder of GlobalPhone.
“By sending our domestic minutes to DCI, we are able to free up our TDM T1s for increased and higher quality international traffic.”

At present, GlobalPhone is terminating five million minutes/month with DCI; however, as the retail and agent business increases, Jazynka expects exponential growth. “GlobalPhone is predicting an astronomical increase in the minutes that we will pass to DCI as we start processing the leads that they are sending for small retails accounts and agents. I am confident that GlobalPhone will be running 15-20 million minutes/month through DCI by the fourth quarter of 2005,“ said Jazynka.

Rosenblit foresees the DCI-GlobalPhone partnership flourishing on many different fronts. “This agreement will allow both DCI Voice Solutions and GlobalPhone to better serve their befitting markets, and enable extensive growth for each in their respective telecom spaces.”
