Cubic Defense Systems Names New Director for Washington, D.C. Operations

 



(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 14, 2001 ) Richard E. Siner has been named Director of Washington Operations for Cubic Defense Systems, a subsidiary of San Diego-based Cubic Corporation (AMEX:CUB).

Previously, Siner served as the senior manager and Director of Business Development for the Washington, D.C. office, with an emphasis on Air Force and Joint programs for Cubic's Training Systems and Tactical Electronic Products.

Prior to joining Cubic, Siner held business development, program management and systems engineering positions with Titan Corporation's East Coast Titan Systems operations and in Europe. Siner was also a career Air Force officer and command pilot in the USAF. He held various Air Force and joint positions within the Washington D.C. area. Additionally, he served as Military Assistant to the Undersecretary of Secretary of Defense for Policy and as a member of the faculty, National War College.

A graduate of the USAF Academy, Siner holds a Master's degree in government from Georgetown University and a M.B.A. from Marymount University.
