Yankowski was previously the CEO of Palm and while at Palm, he successfully planned and implemented one of the most highly valued US technology IPOs to date, spinning off Palm from 3Com. "Carl was able to profitably expand the Palm brand globally, while significantly increasing applications, developers and licensees," said Adriana Guzman, GeoPhoenix co-founder and CEO.
