The 2345 T3 fiber optic modem is an SNMP managed multi-featured product that optically extends standard T3/DS-3 over single mode or multimode fiber optic cable. The 2345 can extend circuits up to 100 Km to add great flexibility and new applications to your system. The 2345 offers optical and full modem redundancy options for non-stop operation. The 2345 is modular and hot swappable for easy servicing. It has performance monitoring per ITU-G.826 and RFC2496 and VT100, SLIP, PPP and SNMP management support. Local and remote loopbacks are standard. It supports B3ZS line coding and AMI pulse coding as well as M13 and C-bit parity framing formats. The input and output alarm relays allow complete monitoring capability. The end-to-end side-band management does not take any of the data payload so more data gets through faster. The 2345 is offered as a standalone product and as a blade in the UCS 1000 and UCS 1001 universal chassis system.
