Asset Learning has partnered with Pam Stenzel, world-renowned abstinence educator, to develop this great tool to reinforce the message of abstinence and making good choices. Studies show that a message that is just “heard” is not as powerful as when hearing and interacting with the information by answering questions, quizzes and games are combined. The more the students interact with the information the more they will retain.

There are 9 lessons, available in 3 versions (Faith-based, Catholic and Public School) which will meet the needs of all possible applications. This dynamic learning program can be used in Classrooms (public and private) as well as in youth group and CCD and religious education programs. The lessons themselves cover in depth the issues discussed in Pam Stenzel’s newest DVD, “Sex Still Has A Price Tag,” including pregnancy and STD’s, but also delve deeper into issues of media influence, dating, refusal skills and character. The Catholic version has discussion of “Theology of the Body” and the faith-based discussion will present biblical foundations for chastity and character formation. There are interactive games, quizzes and video clips in each lesson. There are also quizzes and tests that students will take and the grading will be given electronically to the teacher who will have a master student list. A community page should become operational by September 1st, 2007 and will be available to all with message boards, interactive info and a blog by Pam Stenzel, keeping students informed as to her recent speaking engagements, fun stories of life on the road, and new information as it becomes available.
