After nearly two decades, the US Department of Agriculture has updated its ground beef data to show that ground beef can be just as low, or lower, in fat and calories than ground turkey. In fact, a three-ounce serving of 95% lean ground beef contains only five grams of fat and 139 calories, while the same portion of ground turkey contains eleven grams of fat and 200 calories. Mary K.
