The Nuggets camp is scheduled to begin October 2, just 4 days before they play their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 6.
Their second-round pick Quincy Miller is in imposing 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward. He was the 38th selection in the draft overall and was named the 2011-2012 Big 12 co-freshman of the year.
As they head to the 2012-2013 NBA season, the Denver Nuggets will have a different play as a result of the major changes they made over the summer. They just signed another Miller in the person of Andre Miller, and they also acquired another Andre in the person of Andre Iguodala, who hails from the Philadelphia 76ers. Iguodala will take the place of guard Arron Afflalo, who was traded along with forward Al Harrington in a four-team deal that also involved sending Dwight Howard to the Lakers. In addition, the Nuggets also welcomed another team member, JaVale McGee.

All in all, they will face up against Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio, Golden State, Portland, Oklahoma, Los Angeles Clippers, and Phoenix in the preseason. The matchup against the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers will be held at the Pepsi Center in Denver, the Nuggets’ home.
The formal run of the season begins on the 31st of October for the Nuggets as they face up against Philadelphia. This will then be followed by a long series of games that may or may not lead the Nuggets to the Playoffs, which will begin after their last regular season game on April 17.
