Today, 130 pounds lighter, more energetic and more successful, Gosser loves to share his story and help others make the connection between lifestyle wellness and business health.

"I was sick and tired of being sick and tired," Gosser said. "I took control. I started walking, then running. I cut out the junk. Today I have more energy, a better life and a more successful business. And when I share my story, other people realize they can take control too."

In 2010, after losing over 100 pounds, Gosser was inducted into The Joy Fit Club, an exclusive club of people who have lost 100 pounds or more through "just plain, good old diet and exercise." And on November 29th, 2010, he was featured on MSNBCs Today Show. That was when he realized he had not only accomplished something great but that he had a responsibility to motivate other people. Once he began telling his story in front of groups, the word spread. More businesses and civic groups began asking him to tell his story to motivate their organizations.

"Your health affects everything, from how you show up in your work and life to your longevity and how successful you can be," Gosser said. "You may not even realize the limits you are placing on your business success by the choices you make with your diet and fitness. But if you spend your day feeling sick and tired, it's time to make that connection. As a society, we need to get back on our feet."

In addition to maintaining a healthy diet, Rick has become an avid runner. He ran 22 5k's in 2011, as well as his first half marathon, and he plans to run 25 5k's in 2012 as well as two more half marathons. He writes a blog about how he maintains his personal fitness called " I Did It You Can Two " offering diet and exercise tips and motivation. A recent post, titled "I Never Thought I Would Run a Half Marathon" shared how he trained for a 13.1 mile run in nine weeks and finished the run in less than three hours. "Not bad for a 52 year old," he said. "There are a lot of 40-somethings who wouldn't dream they could do it."

Now a sought after public speaker, Gosser speaks not only on motivation and success but also on branding, social media, and other topics of interest to business organizations and sales teams. He is also creating an inspirational radio show to reach more people with a message of hope and motivation to take charge of their health and live their best life.
