Bookmakers Cannot Split Teams To Win The FA Cup Says FreeBetSite.com

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Liverpool are joint favourites with the bookmakers to win the FA Cup following the fifth round draw.

(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 30, 2012 ) London, UK -- Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Liverpool are joint favourites with the bookmakers to win the FA Cup following the fifth round draw according to free bets website writer David Walker.

A strong Spurs side edged past Championship opponents Watford on Friday night while Chelsea needed a contentious penalty to defeat Queens Park Rangers by the same 1-0 scoreline.

Arguably, Liverpool had the toughest fourth round tie when they faced Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime but a late goal from Dirk Kuyt secured a 2-1 victory against the reigning Premier League champions.

Tottenham face another potential banana skin when they visit League One outfit Stevenage, Chelsea are at home against Birmingham City of the Championship while Liverpool also have second tier opposition in Brighton & Hove Albion.

Elsewhere, Arsenal's rewards for coming from 2-0 down at half-time to beat Aston Villa 3-2 is a trip to the North East. Arsene Wenger's side will play either Sunderland or Middlesbrough who drew 1-1 on Sunday at the Stadium of Light.

Other top flight sides remaining in the competition include Everton who face either Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday at Goodison Park, Norwich City tackle Leicester City while Bolton Wanderers travel to either Southampton or Millwall.

Stoke City visit Crawley Town, the lowest ranked side left in the FA Cup. However, the big spending League Two side have already beaten Championship teams Bristol City and Hull City and will not fear Tony Pulis' team.

“With both Manchester sides out of the FA Cup, the bookmakers are right to be cagey about trying to split Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool”, said Walker, “any of those sides could win it”.

“I expect all three to reach the quarter finals and they should be joined by Arsenal, who are capable of beating either Sunderland or Middlesbrough."

“All eight teams in the quarter finals could be from the Premier League and once the draw is made, the bookmakers may have a clearer idea on a favourite” added Walker.

A full FA Cup betting review can be found at FreeBetSite.com along with a selection of the best odds for the remaining teams involved.
