The second book to come out after the unnamed would-be local best seller is an update of a previously released guide book – the scanner guide entitled Public Safety. This second guide book is scheduled to be published in January of 2012. This updated edition of the previous guide book provides a complete coverage of the scanner frequencies used n state and local government agencies.
What's more appealing about these two new publications is the fact that they were written by Rick DiFiore, president of the Southern California Monitoring Association, the local radio scanner enthusiast club. DiFiore's work is highly esteemed by his associates and everyone else who is into scanners.
As a bit of a caveat for those who are interested in purchasing these two works, it should be noted that there is yet no declared price for these said guide books. Nevertheless, a lot of the local bookstores and hobby shops are already expected to have copies of these books as soon as they become available as there is a good demand for the said guide books.
