The award was announced Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Annual Installation Dinner held at the U.S. Grant Hotel, with nearly 500 of San Diego's leading brokers , agents and real estate community members in attendance.

The Broker of the Year award is measured by candidate leadership, real estate training and education, volunteerism, sales and previous awards and recognition.

Kimberly was a top three finisher for this award in 2010. She currently serves on the San Diego Association of REALTORS Professional Standards committee, the IT and Business Development Committee where she is chair; the Membership & Education Committee, as well as the Technical Users Committee for Sandicor, Inc., the countywide multiple listing service provider.
