Signs made of a large, naturally shaped rock are heavy and usually awkward to work with, but Natural Rock Designs has solved that problem by constructing their monument signs to stand on their own and still retain a natural appearance. This greatly simplifies the process of off-loading and setting in place, especially with the clear instructions and coaching provided by Natural Rock Designs. Using modern computer design tools, Natural Rock Designs takes the guesswork out of the design process. This allows the customer to participate in the creation of a unique design that fits the natural shape of the rock they get to choose. Natural Rock Designs delivers a superimposed design on a photo of the rock face, via e-mail or in person, allowing the customer to direct the digital part of the design process. After the digital design is approved, it is cut out of a rubbery stencil material by a computer plotter. The rest of the process is all done by hand.
