151 Locust Offering Cash Prizes for Best Mobile Technology Company Pitches
Atlanta, GA: 151 Locust, a leading technology incubator and coworking facility, will be awarding cash prizes for the best mobile technology company pitches during a series of events starting in January, 2012. There is no cost to enter the competition.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 09, 2012 ) Atlanta, GA: 151 Locust, a leading technology incubator and coworking facility, will be awarding cash prizes for the best mobile technology company pitches during a series of events starting in January, 2012. There is no cost to enter the competition.
Each month up to ten mobile technology companies will have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of judges at 151 Locust. At the end of the pitchoff the judges will select the top three finalists who will advance to the quarterly finals. The best pitch will earn a $500 cash award that night.
Once a quarter the nine monthly finalists will pitch to a panel of judges at 151 Locust with one winner earning $1,000 and a guaranteed funding meeting with access to a $150,000 mobile technology fund operated by 151 locust for possible $10,000+ seed investment from the funds.
Technology companies that have a significant mobile technology component in their business model are encouraged to apply to attend and participate in the competition. Companies may apply online here:

151 Locust is a technology incubator and coworking facility located in metro Atlanta in the city of Avondale Estates. The 151 Locust Funds include $150,000 in two funds established for the purpose of providing seed funding to metro-Atlanta technology startups. The Members of the fund are experienced, successful, Atlanta based entrepreneurs who have founded or co-founder at least one technology startup, grown that company and then successfully sold the company.
