Officially launched in June 2011, Datasym (UK) Ltd. integrated ChristianSteven with their Point-of-Sale and Head Office software to coordinate reports and business alerts for business owners and managers in real-time. The enhancements provide vital business information and deter fraud by notifying area managers when unauthorized store processes occur, e.g. multiple refunds by a single operator during a shift.
Customized licensing models underscore ChristianSteven’s commitment to long-term relationships with their OEM partners. “Our approach is to understand the partner’s licensing and pricing model and develop a mutually-agreed go-to-market strategy,” says Christian Ofori-Boateng, ChristianSteven CEO. “In some instances, perpetual licensing models are appropriate. Partners integrate with ChristianSteven using an SDK, which provides both a platform and business model that communicates with the vendor application via an API, web services, SQL database, or commands. Any software that utilizes an Access or SQL database in conjunction with Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reporting Services is a candidate partner for this program.
