The jaws of life were used to get Lori out of the car. Twice, on the way to the hospital, she was registered legally dead. When she was admitted to the hospital, she was diagnosed with a closed-head injury; Lori was in a coma for 7 days as her body continued the fight to survive.

Lori’s book, “Am I Brain Damaged??” is a compilation of writings she did while healing from the injury, beginning when her brain was that of an infant, but her body was that of a 25 year old woman.
