Kick off Your Fall aims to prepare people who have trouble hearing for the upcoming holiday season. The Holidays are times when people especially want to feel closer to loved ones; being isolated by a hearing loss has a particular impact at those times. Hearing Services is expecting many people to participate in this event especially designed to reach out to individuals who have hearing problems.

Austin Hearing Services will give away free iCom and myPilot units during Kick-off Your Fall with the completed purchase of qualifying Phonak hearing instruments. The free BlueTooth units will be given for every purchase of Audéo Yes IX, Audéo SMART IX, Exélia Art (any model), Naída IX, and Audéo Zip IX instruments.

Phonak hearing instruments will be featured during this event, while other companies will also have instruments available for demonstration at Austin Hearing Services. Phonak’s goal is to provide hearing devices that have the highest level of performance and most sophisticated features. Phonak’s dedication to this goal has been proven by many satisfied customers through the years.

Kick-off Your Fall will feature Dr. Rebecca Cihocki, an audiologist who trains for Phonak. She will be at the Austin Hearing Services office on Thursday afternoon, August 12 and Friday morning August 13. Dr. Cihocki gives lectures on the advantages and features of Phonak hearing aids and assistive devices. Austin Hearing Services will provide demonstration units for people who want to try the qualifying Phonak hearing instruments during Dr. Cihocki’s visit.

Other hearing aids available for demonstration through September will be hearing instruments from Widex, GN ReSound, Siemens and Oticon Agil Pro Hearing Aids. Some of these instruments have special features and devices to interface with telephones.
