Networking Reception and Dinner Benefits Dress for Success Non-Profit Organization
(EMAILWIRE.COM, August 03, 2010 ) SAN DIEGO, CA, August 2, 2010 – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the technology services industry’s largest and most vibrant association, announced that Jan Uhrich, vice president of strategy and solutions for Dell, will keynote the Women in Services (WIS) networking dinner at Technology Services World 2010 Las Vegas on Tuesday, October 19. The conference, hosted by TSIA, will take place October 18-20 at The Mirage Resort.
The Women in Services charity reception and dinner is now a standing tradition at TSW that provides a rich and unique setting for senior women services executives to discuss business and career issues. Uhrich will share her career story and discuss how services accelerated her success. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner and chance drawings will be donated to Dress for Success San Diego, a charity organization that provides business attire and career counseling for financially challenged women.
“We are especially pleased to have Ms. Uhrich keynote this significant strategic TSW event,” said Diane Brundage, senior vice president of membership development for TSIA and head of Women in Services. “Jan not only maintains a leading role in the industry as a key player at Dell, but she also sits on the executive board for TSIA. Her thought leadership and shared successes will be of great interest to attendees.”
“This event is more than just a celebration of diversity in the services industry; it is a celebration of the positive contributions we have all made which demonstrate our strength in today's workforce,” said Uhrich. “I'm honored to take part in this important gathering and can only hope that my experiences in the industry and the lessons I've learned as a part of the Dell services organization will serve as an inspiration for other women worldwide.”
Women in Services was created several years ago by TSIA and provides a unique and dedicated forum for professional members of the association.
