August Rafting Conditions to be Outstanding on the Kern River
Kern River Outfitters Predicts Plenty of Water for Balance of Rafting Season

Outfitters on the Kern River credit the exceptional water conditions for the increase they are seeing in late summer inquiries and reservations. The Kern River is located in Sequoia National Forest, east of Bakersfield, California. There are four licensed outfitters on the Lower Kern offering half-day, one-day and overnight trips. Reservations are essential and trip space is limited to 30 guests.
