Terrys Fabrics Happily Team with Beswicks Law Firm
Usually the mention of a law firm normally means trouble or a merger in the offing. Neither of these is the case for Terrys Fabrics, the involvement was a purely recreational, charitable teaming up to face the Three Peaks Challenge this year.

A dozen members of Beswicks Law Firm, ‘twelve good men and true’, accompanied Paul McGuinness and his wife, a trustee of the Kabanda Trust, gave up their time to use the Three Peaks Challenge as a means to heighten awareness of the Kabanda Trust and to raise well-need funds for that charity. Mr McGuinness is Director of Terrys Fabrics, an online retailer specialising in curtains, curtain fabrics, curtain poles, blinds and homewares. Terrys Fabrics also have warehouses for in-store visitors in Stockport and Stoke.
He took time off from work to drive around the beautiful British countryside and hike peaks in some of the most spectacular natural scenery there is in Europe. It might sound glorious but there is a twist to the tale, the challenge element of taking time to pursue the Three Peaks is that it must be completed in twenty four hours. This entails being crunched up a car while the team driver transports the walker to the next venue; there is little time for recovery or sight-seeing. The team did remarkably well as they managed to complete the course in twenty five hours even though they had two injured team members in their party.
