The theme of the conference "Healthy, Wealthy, Fierce” will take place on July 22, 2010 at the Rio Hotel and Casino Convention Pavilion.

“According to the Women's Bureau of the U.S Department of Labor, women comprised 46.8 percent of the total U.S. labor force and are projected to account for 46.9 percent of the labor force in 2018,” said Joyce Thomas, “it is apparent that women are transitioning from the homes and into the workplace, an event such as this conference will inspire women of all ages and backgrounds in our community.”

With the theme "Healthy, Wealthy and Fierce," the Las Vegas Women's Leadership Conference is designed for diverse and emerging women who are committed to achieving their highest potential. This all-day conference with the theme: Healthy, Wealthy, and Fierce will host workshops that are geared toward those topics.

The Conference will honor “10 Remarkable Women” with the inspirational and moving presentation of “THE UNSTOPPABLE AWARDS,” held during the “The Power of and UNSTOPPABLE LUNCHEON.” These are women who have made an impact with their courage, wisdom and strength.

Rolonda Watts, actor, producer, journalist and novelist will deliver the Keynote address.
