Las Vegas Women’s Conference Announces All-Star Speaker and Panelist Lineup
(EMAILWIRE.COM, June 04, 2010 ) Las Vegas, NY - Las Vegas’ first-ever Las Vegas Women’s Leadership Conference: “Healthy, Wealthy, and Fierce” is attracting a diverse lineup of both local and national speakers to the event taking place July 22, 2010 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
This all-day conference with the theme: Healthy, Wealthy, and Fierce will host workshops that are geared toward those topics. “The ultimate objective is that we will establish open communication in a diverse setting on issues that affect today’s women,” said Jo Cato. “As more women transition to new careers within the workforce, this conference will provide them the opportunity to become more empowered in health, wealth, and fierceness.”
The event will feature influential voices with engaging discussions about the issues that matter most to women’s lives – business and entrepreneurship, money and finance, health and fitness, service and activism, news and politics, family and parenting, religion and spirituality, and style and beauty. The Conference will honor “10 Remarkable Women” with the inspirational and moving presentation of “THE UNSTOPPABLE AWARDS,” held during the “The EMPOWERMENT LUNCHEON.” These are women who have made an impact with their courage, wisdom and strength.
A Health Village sponsored by Pfizer will be incorporated as an all day wellness center. Throughout the day, attendees will be encouraged to network with the panelists and vendors as well as connect with other attendees while exploring career and businesses opportunities.
Scheduled speakers include Rolonda Watts, journalist, actor, producer, writer, motivational speaker and former talk show host of the nationally syndicated “Rolonda Show,” Sharon McGhee, journalist, Ms. Frantonia Pollins - America's First Lady of Empowerment, and author of the Pocketbook Monologues, Jimi Izrael, journalist and author of The Denzel Principle, Tiffany Smith-Anoi’a, Vice President of Diversity and Communications for CBS Television – West Coast, Judge Karen Bennett, Richelle Shaw, entrepreneur and author along with Ramon Savoy, Publisher – Las Vegas Sentential will join the conference as panelists.
