UFC Veteran Jason Dent faces Chris Lozano in Cleveland's Biggest Annual MMA Event

Dent, who has always been a lightweight to this point in his professional career, has decided to make the move to 170lbs to see if the new weight improves his overall game. Standing across from him on fight night will be local prospect Chris Lozano, a staple of recent NAAFS events that is dropping down from 185lbs to face Dent at the new weight class as well.
After compiling a respectable professional record of 18-9 while fighting predominantly on the local Ohio professional circuit, Dent gained mainstream notoriety when he participated in the lightweight tournament of Spike TV’s hit reality show The Ultimate Fighter in 2009.
Although Dent did not win the lightweight tournament, he did achieve success upon his first official trip inside the UFC’s famed Octagon when he took out fellow cast member Cameron Dollar with an Anaconda Choke at the end of the first round. Dent lost his second fight in a competitive battle with top Australian lightweight George Sotiropoulos, and he will attempt to get back to his winning ways with a dominating victory over Lozano upon his welterweight debut.
For his part, Lozano is an undefeated (4-0 MMA) prospect that recently held the NAAFS Middleweight title. In his four professional bouts to date, he has never taken a fight outside of the first round, but Dent looks to be his toughest test to date by far.
