(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 25, 2010 ) Cleveland, OH - ProFighting-fans.com, one of the leading online sources for mixed martial arts & UFC news, interviews, analysis, and commentary is pleased to announce that we will be providing a live blog complete with round-by-round UFC 114 results and commentary for the entire main card of UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans, which takes place Saturday, May 29 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the main card airing live on Pay Per View.

Should you be unable to attend the event live or order the Pay Per View, ProFighting-fans.com Editor-in-Chief Scott Dryden has you covered with detailed analysis and live results of the entire Pay Per View main card. Pro Fighting Fans also features one of the top-ranked sites on Google for UFC 114 predictions for fans looking to get the experts' take on the May 29 event.

Currently one of the most anticipated MMA events of the year, UFC 114 is headlined by a long overdue grudge match between rival light heavyweights, former light heavyweight champions, and rival coaches on Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter reality show, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and “Sugar” Rashad Evans. Both of these light heavyweight sluggers have the right blend of speed and power to knock anyone in the division out with one punch, and both have been promising to do just that to the other ever since filming wrapped on the reality show last year.

While Rampage and Evans were scheduled to meet in December of last year following the airing of the show, Rampage was forced out of the contest due to obligations filming the upcoming Hollywood film The A-Team. The move angered UFC fans and management alike, but none were more displeased with the decision than Evans, who was forced into a January meeting with Brazilian slugger Thiago Silva, a bout that Evans won by the skin of his teeth after being rocked in the third round.

Before Evans reinvented himself as one of the world’s premier light heavyweight fighters with back-to-back knockout victories over former longtime champion Chuck Liddell and former champion Forrest Griffin, few would have given him a shot in a war with one of the all-time greats of the light heavyweight division, Quinton Jackson. However, the unique blend of speed, power, athleticism, and timing that Evans has developed during his time with Greg Jackson’s camp in Albuquerque, New Mexico has made him close to even money heading into the main event of UFC 114.

For his part, Quinton Jackson burst onto the UFC scene back in 2007 with back-to-back knockout victories, including one over Liddell, to take the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship that year. After defending the title against Dan Henderson the same year, Rampage lost his belt in an upset decision loss to Griffin in 2008. Since that loss, Rampage has won two straight contests, defeating light heavyweight veterans Wanderlei Silva and Keith Jardine before his most recent layoff, which has lasted over one year.

Be sure to check out ProFighting-fans.com the night of the fights for all the commentary and live results you can handle.
