Intimidation Cage Fighting Returns Under New Ownership
Intimidation Cage Fighting presents ICF 20: The Return on June 5, 2010
(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 14, 2010 ) - Brookville, IN - Intimidation Cage Fighting, one of the most exciting and popular local organizations on the Midwestern Circuit, is returning to action this Spring, when ICF 20: The Return kicks off on Saturday, June 5 from Midwest Hoops in Florence, Kentucky under new ownership.
Separating Intimidation Cage Fighting from some of the other local organizations is the even split between amateur and professional mixed martial arts fights. While most organizations seek to expose rising professional talent, Intimidation Cage Fighting lends equal time and resources to the development and promotion of some of the top amateur stars in the country, allowing them to increase their skills and confidence on the amateur level against similar opposition, winning amateur championships in the process.
Outside of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Intimidation Cage Fighting has held some of the most popular and exciting mixed martial arts events in the Midwest, Northern Kentucky area. The ICF is also the oldest and longest-running promotion in the Midwest.
While Intimidation Cage Fighting recently announced a deal for new owners to take over the promotion of all future ICF events, the new team still has the same goals in mind, promoting local MMA fighters and gyms, both amateur and professional, by putting on quality, exciting MMA events on a consistent basis. ICF has announced that the new matchmaker is a professional fighter himself, making his eye for competitive, evenly matched bouts an exciting addition to the 2010 season of ICF events.
In addition to ICF’s focus on putting on an exciting, quality product for fans, the promotion also prides itself on its ability to focus on the unique goals, wants, and needs of the fighters filling out their cards. After all, a promotion would be nothing without the talent that fills out its roster.
Currently coming off of more than a year-long layoff since their last MMA event in the Midwestern area, Intimidation Cage Fighting is eager to kick off a new chapter in its inception, so be sure to join us on Saturday, June 5 from Midwest Hoops in Florence, Kentucky for ICF 20: The Return, which is proudly sponsored by Intimidation MMA Clothing.
The ICF 20 fight card will boast eight fights at the amateur and professional level, including local prospects such as Marissa Caldwell, Priscilla Brownfield, Jonathan Akers, and Danny Woodruff. ProFighting-fans.com, a leading MMA news site, will also be providing coverage of the ICF 20 fight card & results.
