Turbo Fire and Body Gospel to be Released by Beachbody in June 2010
Beachbody has announced that their two new workouts, Turbo Fire and Body Gospel, will be released in June of 2010. Turbo Fire is the latest Chalene Johnson workout while Body Gospel is a Christian based workout that harness the power of faith.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, May 11, 2010 ) Miami, FL- Beachbody has announced that their two new workouts, Turbo Fire and Body Gospel, will be released in June of 2010. Turbo Fire is the latest and most extreme workout to be produced by Chalene Johnson of Turbo Jam fame, while Body Gospel is a Christian based workout that seeks to harness the power of the spirit so as to effect a total body transformation.
Information on both of these workouts was released at the Beachbody 2010 Coach Summit held on May 1st in Los Angeles. Chalene Johnson gave a live sample of a Turbo Fire workout, leading over 1,000 Beachbody Coaches through fifteen minutes of High Intensity Interval Training, which is to form the backbone of the new Turbo Fire workout. The concept behind HIIT is to push you to exercise at your maximum intensity for a brief period of time, followed by a subsequent rest period. These intervals are repeated, creating an energy burn that burns fat for the next 24 to 48 hours. Chalene Johnson herself has mixed the music that accompanies the workouts, her signature beats and sound effects serving to amplify the effectiveness of the workout.
The Body Gospel workout is the product of the partnership between Donna Richardson Joyner and Beachbody. Following 1 Corinthians 6:19 in which is stated that your body is your temple, Donna Joyner seeks to lead the Christian communities back into health and fitness by using their passion for Christ to motivate their workouts. Body Gospel is to be a workout of intermediate difficulty, and will feature 6 DVD’s that consist of resistance training, stretching, core work and cardio.
