The area is a main feeding ground for the Pink Flamingo and many other sea birds as well as a breeding ground for sea turtles. As well as the newly constructed Restaurant Xixim, the hotel includes the bar El Santuario plus a fresh water pool overlooking the Gulf. The sandy beach provides plenty of water sports for all ages and the resort offers multiple choices for local tours to allow guests to explore the Mayan ruins at Uxmal as well as the archaeological wealth and unique ecosystem of the remote northern Yucatan Peninsula.
