Best Buy Group (BBY)
Best Buy is actively engaging partners in talks of electric car sales, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
“We are very serious about the business,” Leo Raudys, the Richfield-based Best Buy Co. Inc., senior director of environmental affairs, told the the Wall Street Journal. “Electric cars are basically computers on wheels. We expect to play a big part in it.”
Mitsubishi Motors North America Inc. wouldn’t say whether the company would enter into some partnership with Best Buy to sell its i-MiEV electric cars, which Best Buy is currently testing for use by its Geek Squad, said Mitsubishi spokesman Moe Durand told the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The company plans on releasing the i-MiEV in America in 2011.

Despite the fact the SEC has accused Goldman Sachs of defrauding an investor who purchased some mortgage-related investments during the housing boom. Goldman has said it's innocent and will fight the lawsuit. Goldman Sachs is receiving support from many investors and has the support of Warren Bufffet.
Shares of Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) are trading lower by -1.34% ahead of its quarterly earnings release. Goldman Sachs, the premier global investment banking and securities firm is expected to release its quarterly results on April 20th.
Wall Street Analysts consensus calls for a profit of $4.02 a share on $11.14 billion revenue.
Goldman Sachs estimates have a range of $1.12 a share. The high estimate calls for profit of $4.45 a share and the low estimate is calling for a profit of $3.33 a share, a year ago for the quarter the company reported $3.39 a share.

The bank swung to a profit of 15 cents a share, above break-even forecasts, on revenue of $25.4 billion, over views. Citi's (C) trading revenue offset loan losses. Citi's report follows encouraging reports last week and boosting hopes that banks may be entering a period of sustained profitability. Citi rose 7%.
