The Short-Course Training series offers twelve short courses ranging from half a day to two days of training. The development of the short courses comes in response to past students who have expressed a desire for shorter courses that go more in depth into certain topics. Courses will focus on a large variety of subjects that will ensure improved efficiency and positive behavior changes. President of Dale Carnegie Training Baton Rouge, Tyler Winner notes “given the number of companies in the state that want to see a positive behavior change in their employees, these courses are recommended for even the most senior staff member”. Topics will include team and communication effectiveness, how to keep a positive attitude, delivering world-class service, time mastery and many others. Courses will be offered throughout the year and start as soon as May.

In addition to this excellent opportunity, many small companies may be qualified for up to a 100% tuition reimbursement from the Small Business Employee Training fund (SBET). With help from Dale Carnegie Training of Middle LA and East Texas, any company that meets the state’s Labor Department requirements can receive a tuition reimbursement for each of their employees. To qualify, companies must have fifty or fewer employees, been in business for three or more years and be approved by the SBET program. “To save companies time, we have specially trained our staff to help a business go through an easy approval process before the upcoming deadline on these classes" says Winner.
