(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 26, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ:ORCL) fell 1.50% to $25.65 after the company posted a lower than-the-expected earnings. The world’s second-largest software maker said third- quarter net income fell to $1.19 billion, or 23 cents a share, from $1.33 billion, or 26 cents, a year earlier. On average, the analysts surveyed by Bloomberg estimated net income of $1.46 billion or 28 cents a share.

Accenture Plc (NYSE:ACN) rose 1.62% to $42.19 after the posted a lower-than-the-expected earnings. The company posted a lower fiscal second quarter net income of $462 million, or 60 cents a share as revenue fell 2% to $5.18 billion.
RadioShack Corporation (NYSE:RSH) soared 9.40% to its fresh 52-week high of $23.85 after The New York Post reported that RadioShack Corp. is considering a sale of the company that could fetch more than $3 billion. It added one potential buyer is Best Buy.
Tibco Software Inc. (NASDAQ:TIBX) climbed over 7% to $11.35 after hitting a new 52-week high of $11.35 earlier in the morning session. The company posted solid quarterly results and Tibco posted a first-quarter net income of $10.4 million, or 6 cents a share, compared with $5.6 million, or 3 cents a share, last year.
Revenue grew 17% to $155 million. License revenue rose 21%to $54.2 million.
Excluding special items, the company earned 12 cents a share.
Analysts on average were expecting earnings of 10 cents a share, excluding special items, on revenue of $148.4 million.
