(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 25, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - This morning hotel stocks opened higher and several stocks made a fresh 52-week high after analyst at JPMorgan had made several changes to stocks within the Hotels and Motels sector:
Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) jumped 3% to $30.53 as the stock was upgraded from Neutral to Overweight and raised the price target by $9 to $36.
Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc (NYSE:SHO) surged 5.60% to $11.33 after the firm upgraded it to Overweight from Neutral and upped the price target by $5 to $13.
Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE:CHH) rose over 1% to $34.89 despite the firm downgraded the company’s share from Neutral to Underweight.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc (NYSE:HOT) surged 2.75% to $45.12 after creating a new 52-week high of $45.83. Its price target was raised by $6 to $49.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) rose 1.60% to $38.95. The firm raise the price target by $6 to $43.
Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE:WYN) jumped 3.40% to $25.77 after the firm raise the price target by $2 to $29
LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE:LHO) surged 3% to $23.34 after the firm raise the price target by $4 to $22.
Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:HST) climbed 3% to $14.82 the firm raise the price target by $3 to $14.
Meanwhile, Orient-Express Hotels Ltd. (NYSE:OEH) fell 0.75% to $13.50 despite the company’s share price target was raised by $3 to $14.
