Site created by AKC Registered Breeder to help dog lovers find the perfect puppy and breeders to find good homes for their young four-footed friends

AKC registered breeder Brenda Martin created PuppyTrader.com so that dog lovers nationwide would be able to find the puppy of their dreams. Dog breeders also will be able to expand their sales market.
"There's not a person alive who doesn't dream of finding the 'perfect' new family member," Martin said. "The world would be a very drab place without dogs and puppies in it. PuppyTrader.com exists to match people looking to find healthy, happy puppies and to help breeders find good, loving homes for their new family friend."
PuppyTrader.com is open to dog breeders and "regular" dog owners who wish to find good homes for their puppies. Martin charges a yearly contract fee of $9.99 per month for an unlimited amount of listings. Individuals wishing to list a puppy for just one month pay a fee of $14.99. This pricing represents “early bird” pricing and is subject to change.
Sellers post a picture, description of the puppy's personality, age, sex, price and location on the site. Potential buyers may search for a puppy based on breed, sex, age and location. Buyers may contact a seller for more information on the puppy via PuppyTrader.com's online e-mail contact form.
Should a dog lover in California find the perfect puppy in Pennsylvania, the buyer may contact the seller to see if the seller is willing to arrange for the puppy to be sent to California.
Puppytrader.com is an advertising site only; no purchasing of puppies takes place at the site. Buyers and sellers make their own payment and delivery arrangements between them, Martin said.
