E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company (NYSE:DD) jumped 1.59% to $37.07 on high volume. So far this year, the stock is up about 8%.
Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) rose 1.91% to $19.24 on high volume after Thomas Weisel upgraded the company’s share from Marketweight to Overweight and raised the price target by $3 to $24.
Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM) surged 1.13% to $33.99 on 7.78 million shares after U.S. chipmaker Broadcom Corp expects to exceed the global semiconductor industry's sales growth this year on rising consumer appetite for new mobile devices and TVs, its chief executive said.
