EnergySolutions, Inc. (NYSE:ES) is amongst the top gainer in the early morning trade and soared 3.45% to $6.14 after it announced that it has been selected to provide waste management systems to new CPR1000 reactors being built as a part of the extensive nuclear new build program in China. China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Corporation (CGNPC) is constructing six CPR 1000 reactor units at its Yangjiang site in Guangdong Province China. The contract to design and supply the liquid waste processing system, together with solid waste systems for two reactor units of Yangjiang Nuclear Power Project, has been awarded to the Company's international subsidiary EnergySolutions EU Ltd. The Yangjiang reactors will be operated by Yangjiang Nuclear Power Company Ltd., a subsidiary of CGNPC.
The Gymboree Corporation (NASDAQ:GYMB) has spurted 10.65% and is trading at $51.22 after reported consolidated financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter and full year ended January 30, 2010. For the fourth fiscal quarter, net sales were $299.6 million, an increase of 4% compared to $288.7 million in net sales for the fourth fiscal quarter of the prior year. As previously reported, comparable store sales for the quarter decreased 2% compared to the fourth quarter of the prior year. Net sales for the 52-week period ended January 30, 2010, were slightly more than $1.0 billion, a 1% increase from the prior fiscal year. Comparable store sales for fiscal 2009 were down 4% compared to the prior year.
GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) climbed 5.14% to $19.22. The stock has a 52-week range of $17.12-$32.82.
Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) has spurted 1.16% and is trading at $24.50. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $24.67.
Visa Inc. (NYSE:V) surged 1.06% to $93.28 after U.S. credit payments volume growth was up 2 percent for Visa Inc. in February compared with the same month of 2009, according to a regulatory filing from the payment processing company on Thursday. Visa also said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that debit payments volume growth increased 20 percent. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $93.28.
Zanett, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZANE) added 11.03% to $3.12. The stock today also touched a new 52 week high at $3.57.
