(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 10, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - After last week’s rally, this week markets seems to be digesting those gains and now trading slightly higher with the Dow up 22.60 points, NASDAQ added over 8.32 points and S&P 500 rose 3.56 points.

Financial stocks are outperforming the broader market with Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) hold the top spot and jumped 3.66% to $3.96 after private equity firm Apollo Management reached a deal to buy Citigroup Inc's real estate investment division, Bloomberg reported. Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) and JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) are also supporting the Financial index.
Yesterday’s biggest gainer, American International Group, Inc. (NYSE:AIG) has again moved up over 12% to $36.68 on speculation that the bailed out insurer will sell more assets after raising $51 billion through deals.
American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) jumped 7% to $18.32 after the teen clothing retailer posted a stronger than expected earnings and also provided a rosy outlook for the current quarter.
Facet Biotech Corporation (NASDAQ:FACT) skyrocketed over 66% to its life time high of $26.95 after the company has agreed to be acquired by Abbott Laboratories for $27 a share, topping a failed hostile offer of $17.50 a share made last year by Biogen Idec Inc.
Navistar International Corporation (NYSE:NAV) fell over 6% to $41.52 on a deal with A123 Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: AONE) to develop lithium ion battery systems .
InterMune, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITMN) is the biggest percentage gainer and soared 67.38% to $39.01 after a Food and Drug Administration panel recommended that the agency approve the biotech's Esbriet to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Miller Industries, Inc. (NYSE:MLR) jumped 3.23% to $12.14 it has approved an annual cash dividend of 10 cents a share payable on March 25 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 18.
Bucyrus International, Inc. (NASDAQ:BUCY) shares gained 2% to $66.91 after Goldman Sachs added the company to their buy list.
EQT Corporation (NYSE:EQT) fell 4.50% to $45.25 after the oil and natural gas producer filed an offering to sell 12.5 million shares.
A123 Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:AONE) rose 1% to $16.93 after the maker of automotive battery systems reported a fourth- quarter loss of 22 cents a share, wider than average estimate of a 20-cent loss by analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
