(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 10, 2010 ) Dallas, Tx - J. Crew Group, Inc. (NYSE:JCG) fell 4.50% to $44.89 after Citi downgraded its share to Hold from Buy on valuation. 2011 and 2012 EPS estimates increased to $2.30 and $2.70, respectively and Price target raised by a dollar to $50.

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) jumped 6.65% to $18.29 in the opening session after it said Wednesday that it earned $59 million, or 28 cents a share in the fourth-quarter compared to $33 million, or 16 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Sales were $972 million compared to $906 million. Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter were 33 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet Research estimated, on average, earnings per share of 33 cents. For the first quarter American Eagle sees earnings per share in the range of 15 cents to 17 cents. FactSet's average estimate was for 15 cents.
The Gap Inc. (NYSE:GPS) also rose 0.45% to $22.30. In the past one year the stock has risen over 110%.
Collective Brands Inc. (NYSE:PSS) fell 9.50% to $21.72 after Soleil downgraded its share Buy to Hold and set a price target of $26. The company reported its fourth-quarter net loss narrowed to 17 cents a share, or an adjusted 18 cents, from $2.28 a year earlier. Sales rose to $741.7 million from $735.2 million. Analysts polled by FactSet were looking for a loss of 26 cents a share on sales of $726.3 million.
