For the fourth quarter ended Jan. 31, the company posted a net profit of $75 million, or 61 cents a share, compared with $78.4 million, or 62 cents, last year.
LHC Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:LHCG) advanced 8.57% to $31.42 after the company reported that its fourth-quarter net income attributable to stockholders increased to $12.66 million or $0.70 per share from $10.49 million or $0.58 per share last year.
Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP) went up 5.26% to $14.40 on 9.41 million shares after the company said that it swung to a fourth-quarter profit of $49.9 million, or 27 cents a share. Analysts had been expecting earnings of 12 cents a share, according to data compiled by FactSet.
