(NYSE:AIG) went down 9.96% to $24.77 on 27.13 million shares after the company said its fourth-quarter net loss was $8.9 billion, or $65.51 a share, versus a net loss of $61.7 billion, or $458.99 a share, in the fourth quarter of 2008. The fourth-quarter 2009 adjusted net loss was $7.2 billion, or $53.23 a share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $38.5 billion, $287.69 a share, in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ:CROX) plunged 9.50% to $7.05 on 16.10 million shares after the company reported a narrower fourth-quarter loss and shocked Wall Street with the sudden departure of its chief executive who has served for a year. For the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, Crocs posted a net loss of $11.5 million, or 13 cents a share, down from a loss of $34.7 million, or 42 cents a share, a year earlier.
Athenahealth, Inc (NASDAQ:ATHN) dropped 15.35% to $36.84 on 6.67million shares after the company after the company said it will postpone the release of its quarterly results due to an accounting review.
BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE:BXS) lost 13.74% to $19.47 on 6.89 million shares.
SandRidge Energy Inc. (NYSE:SD) fell 5.48% to $7.94 on 23.82 million shares after the company was downgraded to Hold from Buy by Stifel Nicolaus. SandRidge Energy is currently below its 50-day moving average of $9.26 and below its 200-day moving average of $10.41.
