Vice Presidents from Epic Records and Mercury Records, as well as three representatives from Atlantic Records will be in attendance for this show at Columbus, Ohio’s Newport Music Hall, 1722 N High St. Other bands on the bill include Downplay, Introspect, Ardor, Noise Auction Sever, Bourbon Kings, and Click to Play. The show begins at 7pm with a $5 cover.

Drawing from radio influences ranging from Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace to Lost Prophets and Story of the Year, State Your Cause is a hard-rocking band out of Columbus Ohio. State Your Cause just recently release their first CD, “escape.rebellion.promise”, produced by Ben Schigel (Drowning Pool, Walls of Jericho), and found themselves opening for Linkin Park as part of the Projekt Revolution tour last year, as a result of winning the “Rock The Revolution” band competition, hosted by MTV2 and The Machine Shop Marketing Group, and is lining up gigs in Ohio and the surrounding region.

The band’s single “Bring You Back” recently beat out 870 other rock bands to win at OurStage.com’s Rock Channel and then continued on to win the $5,000 grand prize, competing against the winners of 34 other channels on the popular website. State Your Cause took their winnings and purchased a truckload of teddy bears to donate to a local children’s hospital over the Christmas holiday.
